The unit practices conventional IVF, ICSI, testicular sperm extraction, laser assisted hatching, preimplantation genetic diagnosis for certain diseases and frozen-thawed embryo transfer.

The pregnancy rate depends on woman’s age and is detailed by the following table:

In order to enter our program a file should be opened and the following information and tests is required:

1. Female general health condition and her gynecologic history.

2. Male general health condition

3. Information about all previous treatment

4. Tests for the female:

Hormonal profile taken on day 3 of the cycle to include FSH, LH, Prolactine, TSH

Serologic tests to include HBsAg, HCV antibody, Rubella antibody, VDRL, HIV,
Blood group, and CMV.

Cervical PAP test

One of the following tests performed recently: hysterosalpingo-gram or
hysteroscopy.

5. Tests for the male:

Hormonal profile to include FSH, LH, Testosterone, prolactine and TSH

Serologic tests to include HBsAg, HCV antibody, VDRL and HIV

Sperm analysis

6. Applicants are requested to pay in advance. The fee covers all visits and consultations given by the physician, blood tests and ultrasound to be performed at the hospital, anesthesia, egg retrieval and embryo transfer as well as embryo freezing when necessary. The fee does not include the cost of medicine to be given, this is estimated to be about 1500$ for one treatment cycle.

7. Treatment cycle last for about one month. Some tests as well as the beginning of the cycle can be performed at your country as long as there is gynecologic physician who can help you with the instruction. Otherwise, patients have to come to Israel and get the whole treatment from the early beginning at our institute.
